Wait! You MUST read…this angel’s reading list

Actually, Mel, the angelic heroine in the series, has her own reading list – and it's not what you think. Religious books? No. Only really clean reads? Uh-uh. My books? Actually, no. I could have given her copies of all of my books…but for her, the world of my characters is very real and not fiction at all, so my books aren't appropriate for this angel.

Mel's whole story of working for the HELL Corporation is based on the reality of working in a corporate office environment. MY reality. Admittedly, while I like to escape reality for a little by writing books like this one, I also read a Hell of a lot during my train commute and this spilled over into my stories about Mel. Her reading list was mine – and each book I read became an integral part of the plot. The office Christmas party and Getting Stephen Laid are intimately linked, as is Melbourne Cup Day and Monsters in the Dark. When a half-angel tries to seduce a horned demon, the story moves into the realms of fantasy and unicorns – and a unicorn tale makes an appearance on Mel's phone.

Some authors have a playlist for each book and I admit, so do I. Sympathy for the Devil, anyone?

This series is the first I've ever written with a recommended reading list – and the list is all fiction books I read and enjoyed. So as you're reading…see if you can guess which reference is which, as some are more cryptic than others. I'll make it easy for you and give you the recommended reading list, complete with covers and links. Oh, and before you ask…yes, I've read and reviewed them all; and I enjoyed all those that made it into See You in Hell.

About the Author

USA Today bestselling author Demelza Carlton has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.
She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers and stood on spray-drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.
Sensationalist spin? No - Demelza tends to take a camera with her so she can capture and share the moment later; shipwrecks, sharks and all.
Demelza now lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world.
